SRT with guest Anna Spiro of Absolutely Beautiful Things

Well, we just had the best conversation with the great Anna Spiro all the way from "down undah". (sorry, just had to throw that in!). Anna in conversation is every bit as exuberant and charming as is her blog and her design style.

First Ladies, Thank You so much for hosting Anna today so that the world could hear her sweet voice and now we can all put that incredible sound to the words she writes on ABT. Anna: You are so humble and gracious and absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story and your vision. You are obviously a bit of your Mom and Grandmother - how lovely - and how lucky your son is! It is extremely rare to meet a person who is so driven yet so soft. This contradiction is a special gift that you were given. I adore your work, your style, your eye, your business sense and your blog. I can not wait to see what you will give the future. Big Canadian Hug, Liberty Post xo
I forgot to ask Anna: is that white (for walls and floors etc.) you use just 'white' or is it a warm, cool or ??? white?

We learned quickly that Absolutely Beautiful Things isn't idle bragging.

Thanks so much to Anna and the great skirted ones. It's so nice to hear the voices behind the words. You can cover more ground in a 20 minute conversation than in a day of email exchanges. And you don't even have to spell check or proof read.

And here here for Courtney Barnes, every post is such a delight I always forget I'm learning something as well.

Hello Ladies,
Wonderful conversation. I want to first thank Joni for not mentioning the "stalkers" when Anna spoke of people approaching her. How bold we were to knock on Joni's door and how kind she was to meet and greet us. You are one in a million Mrs. Webb!!!!
The second thing that comes across very clearly is the generousity of bloggers to one another. You have all helped each other so much!
Last but not least...thank you Anna for appreciating American design and bringing it to your lovely country.

When my eyes are burning from the sea of beautiful blogs I've looked at, I will turn to you, close my eyes, and listen!

How lovely to hear another aussie accent - and to hear the voices of some of my favorite bloggers! Well done girls.
Hello Ladies of the Skirted Roundtable - What a beautiful interview! I was so touched how Anna's grandmother helped her when she was younger. By holding a job for her, no less! Thank you all for sharing these great stories!
